Terms
The rules of using Krexel.
Last updated 2026-07-07. Plain English.
1. The short version
- You're responsible for what you deploy.
- Don't use Krexel for spam, malware, phishing, illegal content, or to harm others.
- Fair-use rate limits apply — see your plan.
- We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. We'll tell you first if we can.
- These terms can change; we'll email 30 days before any material change.
2. Your account
You need an email and a password (or a Google / GitHub login) to use Krexel. You're responsible for your credentials and for what your API keys do. If you suspect a key has been leaked, revoke it from Dashboard → Keys.
3. What you can deploy
You can deploy any static site, single-page app, or front-end framework build output. We don't impose a content policy beyond what's listed in §4. We don't claim ownership over your code — you retain all rights to anything you upload.
4. What you can't deploy
- Anything illegal in the UK or in the country where your site is served from.
- Malware, ransomware, or anything designed to compromise visitor devices.
- Phishing pages or impersonation of any person, brand, or organisation.
- Spam infrastructure — bulk mailing pages, SEO link farms, comment spam bots.
- Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or privacy.
- Hate speech, CSAM, or material that targets people for harassment.
We don't pre-moderate deployments. We respond to abuse reports at abuse@krexel.com. Confirmed violations get the offending deploy removed and the account reviewed.
5. Plan limits and fair use
Each plan has a monthly deploy quota and a domain cap (see Pricing). If you exceed your deploy quota mid-month, additional deploys are billed at the published overage rate. If you exceed your domain cap, attaching a new domain will prompt an upgrade.
“Unlimited” in the Studio plan means fair use: deployments should look like normal product work, not as a CDN for bulk file distribution. If a single account sends more than 10 TB / month, we may ask you to migrate.
6. Pricing and payment
The Starter plan is free. Builder and Studio plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Cancel anytime — your paid features stay active until the end of the billing period. Refunds within 14 days of charge are honoured if the service didn't work as advertised; email billing@krexel.com.
If a payment fails, we retry for 7 days, then downgrade the account to Starter. Your deployed sites keep serving during that grace period.
7. Data ownership and deletion
You own everything you upload. We won't use your code, designs, or content for marketing, training, or anything else. When you delete your account, all deploys, files, and logs are wiped within 24 hours. See the Privacy policy for the full retention timeline.
8. Service availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime on the API and dashboard. The actual availability of deployed sites is bound by Cloudflare Pages' SLA — see Cloudflare's terms for that. If our service goes down and you can't deploy, that's on us; if a deployed site is unreachable because Cloudflare is having a bad day, that's on them.
9. Liability cap
If something we do causes you loss, our liability is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the event. For free-tier accounts, that cap is £100. Nothing in this section excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury — those rights can't be contracted away.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For any material change, we'll email every active account at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Previous versions are archived and can be requested by emailing hello@krexel.com.
