Connect ChatGPT to Krexel.
ChatGPT discovers Krexel OAuth automatically. You do not register an OAuth client, create an API key, choose a callback URL, or copy a client secret.
Before you start
Check that your ChatGPT workspace allows custom apps.
Full MCP apps are currently intended for ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and Edu on the web. Your workspace admin may need to enable Developer mode or give you permission to create an app. If you cannot see Apps → Create, this is a ChatGPT plan or workspace-permission issue—not an API key problem.
Krexel MCP URL
https://krexel.com/api/mcp- 1. Enable Developer mode.
In ChatGPT web, open Settings → Apps → Advanced settings. Turn on Developer mode. Workspace admins can also start from Workspace settings → Apps → Create.
- 2. Create the Krexel app.
Open Settings → Apps → Create, name it “Krexel,” and paste the MCP URL above as the endpoint. Do not enter a client ID, client secret, callback URL, or API key.
- 3. Scan and authorize.
Select Scan tools. When ChatGPT opens Krexel, sign in and choose Authorize. Return to ChatGPT and wait for the scan to finish, then create the app.
- 4. Test the connection.
Start a new chat, select Krexel from Apps, and ask: “List my Krexel sites.”
If you see “authorization request expired or not found”
- Close the expired Krexel approval tab. Do not refresh it.
- Return to ChatGPT and start Scan tools or Connect again.
- Complete sign-in and approval in the newly opened tab.
No access is granted by an expired request. If a draft app cached an older setup, remove the draft and create it again with the MCP URL.
